Register for the next Cleveland International Model United Nations on February 14th to 16th 2019.

St. Edward High School and The Cleveland Council on World Affairs are pleased to partner together to give participating Model United Nations delegates a unique and unforgettable conference experience. The Cleveland International Model United Nations Conference (CLEIMUN) is the only one of its kind in the world. Elements from the styles of Harvard Model UN and THIMUN Model UN have been combined together to give participants a real-world Model United Nations experience.

CLEIMUN is the only conference in the world that has combined elements of both the Harvard and THIMUN (The Hague) styles. With this system, delegates prepare draft resolutions before the conference and submit them to an Approvals Panel after lobbying and merging (the European model). Committee debates include open discussions and unmoderated caucuses (the North American model). The blending of the two styles creates robust debate and exemplary resolutions.

The CLEIMUN Conference is set in Cleveland, Ohio. The conference is in a central, downtown location that can accompany local and international schools that attend the conference. There are also numerous hotels near the conference site. Cleveland is known for its vibrant theater district, entertaining sports teams, and engaging museums.
